Story Time:The Fruits of Hard Work

The first in our series of Folktales is that of

Father and Sons:

Suddenly, the father fell sick and gathered his children around him to tell them of a hidden treasure in the garden.

The children immediately start digging the ground, eager to find a chest full of gold, but couldn't find anything.

As they gather around the father again, he gives them seeds to plant in the already dug out ground.

As they later pick the fruits of their labour, the intention of the father becomes clear.

The father wanted to teach his children that hard work is the true way to the treasures of life!
